Know Exactly Where You Stand

Fifteen Honest Minutes About Your Business

No slide deck. No script. No pressure. A working conversation with someone who has sat in your chair.

Most "free consultations" in this industry are a discovery call wearing a disguise — twenty minutes of qualifying questions, then a proposal. This is different for a practical reason: Leonard has run the company you are running. He does not need a script to find the constraint. He usually finds it in the first few answers.

You will do most of the talking. He will ask short questions and listen for the two or three things that always turn out to matter.

Why It Is Free

Because neither of us can honestly know whether we should work together until we have talked about your actual numbers. Charging for that conversation would filter for the wrong thing — and plenty of these calls end with a free guide and a handshake instead of an invoice.

No Surprises

The Questions You Will Be Asked

Published in advance, because a real assessment does not need the element of surprise.

  • What does revenue look like, and where does it come from? Service versus replacement versus maintenance tells the story quickly.
  • Do you know your true cost per billable hour? Most owners do not. It is the single most important number in the business.
  • How do you price a repair today? Flat-rate book, hourly, or judgment at the truck — each one implies a very different set of problems.
  • How many maintenance agreements do you hold? The health of the recurring base predicts next year better than almost anything else.
  • What happens with callbacks? Tracked and root-caused, or absorbed quietly into everybody's week?
  • Who decides when you are not there? If the answer is nobody, we have found the ceiling.
  • What part of the week do you dread? The most revealing question on the list.

On the Call Itself

What You Walk Away With

1. Which Ceiling You Are Actually Against

There are four predictable ceilings — roughly $500K, $1M, $3M and $5M — and each one breaks a different part of the company. Knowing which one you are sitting against changes what you should work on Monday.

2. The Constraint Costing You Most

Named plainly, in plain language. Not a list of fourteen opportunities — the one thing that, left alone, will keep everything else from working.

3. A First Move You Can Make This Week

Specific and actionable, whether or not you ever work with JordanWORX. Most owners can start it before the week is out.

4. An Honest Answer About Fit

Including "you do not need us." If one guide on this site solves your problem, Leonard will point you at it and tell you to go build it.

Setting Expectations

What This Is Not

  • Not a webinar disguised as a call.
  • Not a survey handed to a salesperson afterward — you are talking to Leonard.
  • Not a free trial that starts billing later. Nothing to cancel.
  • Not a promise of results. Nobody honest can guarantee your numbers, and we will not pretend otherwise.
  • Not a commitment. Most calls end with a next step you take yourself.
The Only Thing You Risk

Fifteen minutes — and finding out plainly what is holding your business back. Most owners say the hardest part was picking up the phone. After that it is just two people in the trade talking honestly.

Questions Owners Ask

The Free Assessment: Frequently Asked Questions

Is the assessment really free?

Yes. No cost, no obligation, no card, no trial that converts. Fifteen minutes with Leonard on the phone. The reason it is free is simple: neither of us can tell whether we should work together until we have had an honest conversation about your numbers, and charging for that conversation would filter for the wrong thing.

What will you ask me?

Practical questions, not a personality quiz. Roughly: what your revenue looks like and where it comes from, whether you know your true cost per billable hour, how you price repairs today, how many maintenance agreements you hold, what your callback situation looks like, who makes decisions when you are not there, and what part of the week you dread most. That last one is often the most revealing.

Do I need to send financials first?

No. Nothing is required in advance. If you happen to have your last profit and loss statement handy the conversation goes deeper and faster, but plenty of useful calls start with an owner who only knows what is in the checking account. Come as you are — we will find the constraint either way.

Is this a sales pitch?

It is a real assessment that sometimes ends in an offer and often does not. If what you need is one specific fix you can make yourself, Leonard will say so and point you at the free guide that covers it. If you are not a fit, he will tell you that too. An owner who leaves with a clear next step he can take alone is a good outcome — that is how referrals get made.

What do I get out of it?

Three things, on the call itself. An honest read on which growth ceiling you are actually sitting against. The one constraint costing you the most right now — named plainly. And a specific first move you can start on this week, whether or not you ever work with us.

What if I am embarrassed about my numbers?

Then you are in the majority, and you are talking to the right person. Leonard started from scratch in 1993 and made most of the mistakes personally — including the ones owners are most reluctant to say out loud. Nothing you describe will surprise him, and nothing gets judged. The owners who recover fastest are simply the ones who said the hard thing earliest.
