Leonard Jordan started an HVAC company from scratch in 1993 and spent 34+ years building, running, repairing, scaling and selling them — 28 of those years in Atlanta. JordanWORX exists to turn that experience into systems other owners can actually use.
Not to sell theory. To take what was learned under real pressure and turn it into systems other owners can actually use.
In 1993 Leonard Jordan started an HVAC company from nothing. For a long stretch he was the technician, the salesman, the dispatcher, the bookkeeper and the guy who stayed up wondering how payroll was going to clear. Everything JordanWORX teaches came out of that period and the decades that followed — building teams, building systems, scaling to multimillion-dollar success, and eventually selling companies.
Twenty-eight of those thirty-four years were spent in the Atlanta market. The rest, and the founding of JordanWORX, in Central Florida. Two very different climates, two very different equipment mixes, and two very different sets of problems — which is exactly why the systems we build start from your numbers rather than a template.
Owners rarely fail because nobody told them what to do. They fail because nobody helped them build it while the phone was ringing. If nothing physically exists in your business at the end of an engagement, it was not worth what you paid.
This industry repeats a lot of numbers nobody can trace. On this site we cite the Bureau of Labor Statistics, NOAA, the IRS, the Department of Labor, state licensing boards and named studies — and where a figure could not be verified, we say so and leave it out.
Every system gets measured against one question: could somebody else find the instructions, understand the process, do the work, spot a problem and know when to escalate — without relying on what is in your head? If not, it is not finished.
There are owners who should not hire a marketing agency, should not join a peer group, and should not buy that software this year. We would rather tell you that and keep your trust than take the engagement.
JordanWORX is being built deliberately so that it can run without depending on Leonard's daily involvement — the same standard we hold our clients to. Everything gets documented, everything gets a process, and nothing important is allowed to live only in somebody's memory.
That is not an abstract principle. It is the single most valuable thing an owner can build, and most never do — which is why so many HVAC companies turn out to be a job the owner cannot sell rather than an asset somebody wants to buy.
Leonard Jordan started an HVAC company from scratch in 1993 as the one man doing nearly everything — running the calls, selling the work, ordering the parts and making payroll. Over 34+ years he built systems and teams, scaled companies to multimillion-dollar success, and successfully exited companies. Twenty-eight of those years were spent in the Atlanta, Georgia market before he built JordanWORX out of Orlando, Florida.
We are an HVAC business transformation and implementation partner. The distinction matters: advice-only coaching hands you a call and a to-do list. We build the systems with you — the flat-rate price book from your own profit and loss statement, the technician pay plans, the dispatch rules, the service agreement program, and the reporting that lets you finally see your own business.
No. We do not install, service or repair equipment, and we do not compete with our clients. JordanWORX builds the businesses that do that work.
Residential HVAC business owners — from owner-operators still running their own calls to companies working through the $1M, $3M and $5M ceilings. We also work with licensed professionals launching a new company who would rather build it right the first time than fix it later.
One honest 15-minute conversation. You tell Leonard where you are stuck — he tells you what is really holding the business back.
No cost. No obligation. No pressure.
